Cats Eye Obtainium 28 Year Bottled for Baxus - 2024

Cat’s Eye Distillery is a small family-owned micro-distillery with a mission to craft truly epic tasting products and uniquely sourced items. John Baker, an owner, honed his distilling skills at Honey Creek Distillery in Van Buren County. Subsequently, extensive research and consultations with 22 micro-distillery owners in Colorado informed their approach. After thorough experimentation, the distillery introduced its inaugural whiskey, “Essence of Iowa,” followed by Krupnik. A special release of the distillery's flagship Obtainium line, this expression was bottled for Baxus in honor of the 150th Kentucky Derby. To reflect that, the 28-year-old Canadian Whisky is bottled at a hearty 150 Proof.
